Brief update on the Club and moving forward 01/02/2025

Following the meetings and EGM held last year, we will not be taking any renewals for Crayford Social Club or for those wanting a year pass.

The Club, as agreed, is rebranding itself and beginning a refurbishment process, this includes a complete reforming, re-registering and renaming to “The Waterside Club”.

Discussions are ongoing with the CIU to have the new club registered as an affiliated body, as and when this occurs an update will be posted here and in the club.

The sale of the club is in progress and, as discussed, the loan will be repaid in full.

When funds are in (following the final winding up of Crayford Social Club Ltd.) and everything is transferred, things will commence, plans will be drawn up for the new layout, the contractors appointed and the programme of works drawn up.

The plan is to minimise disruption to the trading of the business and maintain, for as long as possible, the use of the club for members and regulars.

We are also planning to have entertainment and live sports channels available during this period between winding up and refurbishment, this should help make the club more appealing and welcoming as suggested by those who attended the EGM.

More updates will be posted as and when the situation advances including publishing the figures, which should be quite soon.
